About the event
This year, Team Anna is launching a special edition book for the 50th anniversary of the Turkish invasion of Cyprus, entitled "Fifty years have gone by and...". This book is aimed at the latter classes of primary and for secondary school aged students. It’s a heartfelt tribute to the missing and fallen Cypriots. We’ve written this in simple Greek so it’s easy to understand. The story has also been translated in English.
Our hero is George (one of Anna's friends) and his origin is from Cyprus. He mentions his uncle Andreas in a letter, where he has been missing since 1974. His uncle Andreas was only 18 years old when Cyprus was attacked.
